Scientist Within 2

In science we have been learning about the water cycle. The water cycle works by the sun heating the water then the water rises into the clouds and stays in the clouds until the clouds get too heavy to carry then the water falls down to earth as rain,hail or snow. The reason why it turns into rain hail or snow is because the higher the water goes the colder it gets.

Multiplication in Maths

In room 5 i have been learning compensation. Compensation means taking away a little from a tidy 10 or adding a little to a tidy 10. For example 6x47= 6x50=300 - 6x3=18......300-18=300 - 10=290.....290 - 8=282. i have found this stratigie useful cause its easyer to work out.
